I have heard some great things about Microsoft’s upcoming release of Windows Home Server, I am waiting with baited breath until I can get my hands on one of these. Rumor has it they will be released mid September (just in time for my birthday).
Here are some of the features that will be included in WHS.
Centralized Backup (Crown Jewel)
Health Monitoring
File Sharing
Printer Sharing
Previous Versions (If this works like Vista’s Previous Versions then rock on, I have already used it in Vista and it saved my ass)
Headless Operation (no monitor, keyboard or mouse)
Remote Administration
Remote Access Gateway
Media Streaming
Data Redundancy
Expandable Storage
I really like what I have read about the Backup features. According to sources this will have the ability to backup 15-19 TB of data into only 300GB of space!!
I have been hearing some strange noises at night as of late, so I have decided to get some sort of a weapon that I could use to defend my wife and home in case of an attack from unknown intruders. I could get a gun or a bazooka, maybe some laser trip mines, but those are loud, messy and just not really my style. I came upon this website, and well…….. I just have to say this is perfect for me. I mean just think if some intruder sees a dude coming around the corner with this setup, he is going to shat his pants trying to bolt out of the door. It even comes with a shield. Defend your home and act out your medieval fantasies at the same time!
I found this site a couple of months ago and I have used it several times doing wireless router setups. It’s a random password generator up to 63 characters. I don’t care how good you are try cracking a passphrase like this:
“You know, I have one simple request. And that is to have sharks with frickin’ laser beams attached to their heads!”
Ok that’s not my request but making a burning laser out of a DVD ROM drive and a Maglite, sounds good to me. Just make sure if you try this to be careful, you could put an eye out with this thing!!
